The Stetsons update
Over the last 12 months I have had some really interesting requests. Supported by many helpers we have attended some great linedancing parties. Some of the most interesting were: teaching the great Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin fame to linedance. A hen party in the Cotswolds with topless male models. And great fun teaching staff to dance, at corporate events, after they had been wined and dined... Throughout we have met some lovely people.
We have also been featured on the BBC, teaching members from the Birmingham Royal Ballet Summer School how to linedance. They were all fantastic and picked the steps up very quickly.
Dancing has also pointed us towards others less fortunate then ourselves and in particular working with special needs people. This is really gratifying and I cherish the time spent with these special people who always have a smile for us.

Themed Birthday Parties
I am available for
themed birthday parties, hoe downs, etc. Either book me for an hour, and I'll
pop in and play my music through your DJ's system and instruct your guests
or hire me for the evening, in which case I'll bring my own equipment. Rates
negotiable, depending on time required and distance travelled, etc. These parties are not just for the youngsters, I've done many senior citizens retirement parties and displays in retirement homes where the guests have preferred to watch our display rather than join in. Corporate functions are also very popular especially Christmas and New Year's parties.
Do
you fancy organising a "hoe down" i.e. linedance evening? You provide
the venue and participants, I'll provide the music and entertainment.

Boys Can Dance Too
Our junior classes attract plenty of young ladies, but we seem to have a shortage
of male dancers.
If your son wants to have a go, and he is 7 years old or over, then send him along... you never know, it may work wonders for his footwork on the football pitch!
The picture to the left shows Rob Fowler, one of linedancing's most well-known and sought after choreographers, who came across linedancing by chance on holiday. Since starting years ago he has travelled the world with his new career - including an appearance at one of our hoe downs - and won several awards, notably European Line Dance Champion and both Instructor and Choreographer of the Year in the UK for several years. As Rob has a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate, no one would dare say that linedancing is just for girls!
